The short version
Jarvis is designed to be private by default. Wake-word detection and computer-control commands run entirely on your device. Nothing you say leaves your machine unless you use an online AI provider, online speech recognition, or a web action you explicitly asked for.
What runs on your device
- Wake-word detection (offline Vosk model) — audio is processed locally and never stored.
- System commands (open apps, volume, screenshots, timers) — executed locally.
- Offline AI (Gemma via Ollama) — questions and answers stay on your machine.
- Command history — stored locally in a file you can clear anytime from Settings ▸ Privacy.
What leaves your device (only when used)
- Online speech recognition (Google) for more accurate transcription when you're connected.
- AI questions sent to the provider you configured (your own API key), or to Jarvis Cloud on paid plans.
- Google sign-in: we receive your name, email and profile picture to create your account.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card details.
What we store on our servers
If you sign in: your Google account basics (name, email, picture), your plan, and daily AI usage counters for paid plans. We don't sell data, run ads, or share your information with third parties beyond the services above.
Your choices
- Use Jarvis without an account — sign-in is optional on the free plan.
- Turn off history saving, or clear it, in Settings ▸ Privacy.
- Sign out everywhere from Settings ▸ Account to revoke access on all devices.
- Email us to request deletion of your account data.
